Careers
We are not the average accounting firm, and we are looking for accountants to join us who are not average. We do things a little differently here at Pauly Rogers & Co. From abandoning the traditional billable hours model to offering in-house, hands on training instead of one-size-fits-all webinars. From who we are, to who we work with; we are different.
Whether you are a newly minted accountant just out of school looking to get top-rate training in auditing or a seasoned CPA wanting to leave the billable hour rat race behind while staying and growing in the challenging and rewarding world of public accounting, we have what you are looking for.
At Pauly Rogers & Co, you will get hands on experience performing audits, building financial statements, and working directly with clients from all over the great State of Oregon. We have one of the largest municipal audit client lists in Oregon, and a significant number of non-profit and for-profit clients as well. We work with Counties, Cities, Education Service Districts, School Districts, Charter Schools, Special Districts, Corporations, Employee Benefit Plans, and Non-Profit Organizations. The typical team member at Pauly Rogers works with anywhere from 20 to 50 different clients throughout the year, which translates to a broad spectrum of experience with different types of entities, bases of accounting, software and bookkeeping conventions, and GASB/FASB concepts.
We believe that people learn best when they are allowed to ask questions and take risks in a supportive environment. We acknowledge that public accounting can be a stepping stone to another career and work with you to help you get where you want to go.
We offer a totally employer-covered health care package, flexible scheduling, and plenty of vacation time. We pride ourselves on excellent training, a work-life balance that many consider refreshing in the public accounting sphere, and a firm culture that is supportive with many growth opportunities.
